When you hit the wall going towards your goal, it's hard. You were traveling 60 miles a hour nobody warned you and BAM! You hit it hard and it takes time to heal.
Coming to the realization that you've got to get stronger to get over that wall can seem like such a defeating thing when you look at what it will take over time. That's why looking at what it will take has to be taken in such small steps. What you use to do effortlessly, is now filled with excuses and laziness that you once thought was totally unacceptable.
This is why you've got to take it slowly, one inch at a time. If you can't seem to bring yourself to work on your goals for hours on end like you once did, why not start back by doing it for 5 minutes at a time...Soon that will turn into 10 minutes at a time, and the next thing you know without even realizing how it's happened you've gone to the hardware store bought a ladder and climbed that dam wall that brought you down.
Now ask yourself what wall have you hit? How quickly are you going to heal from hitting that wall at 60 miles an hour.
Getting back on track may take some time, but it's in you, that why you got started in the first place. Right?
